I work with couples who have one thing in common: they've never liked having their picture taken. No staged poses, no artificial setups, no "look at the camera and smile." You go about your day, and I step back to capture it just as it is.

My approach can be summed up in three words: unobtrusive presence, natural light, and careful selection. I work in a documentary style; I offer guidance when it’s helpful, and I step back as soon as the moment arrives. The result: images in which you recognize yourselves, not poses in which you’re trying to find yourselves.

Based in Obernai, I travel throughout Alsace and beyond. I speak French, English, and Czech.

My wife and I aren't very used to having our picture taken, so we paid very close attention to choosing the right photographer; we needed to find someone who would put us at ease.

Kristian was able to capture the beauty of every moment he photographed: moments of joy and laughter, moments of emotion, and intimate moments.

Group photos. I know this is important to you, and that it’s often the least fun part of the day. We’ll get it done quickly and efficiently, with a touch of humor so no one gets bored.

A night out. The energy on the dance floor, laughter with friends, intimate moments. I capture the atmosphere without interrupting the party. No posing—just the moment.
